Teaching
I take teaching seriously, since a university's principal customers are students. I teach
applied
microeconomics topics: theory, public finance, and personal finance. My
classes are rigorous but my style is informal. I lecture rather than
facilitate and moderate discussion. I am working on incorporating more of
the latter into my courses.This semester (Fall 09) I
will be teaching
my regular
class - Personal Investing/Ec 212 once again. Any
day is a great day to learn about the stock market no
matter if the market is bullish, or bearish, if the
economy is booming, or in a recession. This course
provides many of the economic tools to understand why
and how to invest to achieve whatever financial goals
