Teaching
I take teaching seriously, since a university's principal customers are students. I teach
applied
microeconomics topics: theory, public finance, and personal finance. My
classes are rigorous but my style is informal. I lecture rather than
facilitate and moderate discussion. I am working on incorporating more of
the latter into my courses.This semester (Fall 08) I am teaching
the Economics of Regulation, rather than my regular
class (Personal Investing - Ec 212, that will be taught
by a great PhD student in Economics, Rohnn Sanderson).
