Teaching

I take teaching seriously, since a university's principal customers are students.  I teach applied microeconomics topics: theory, public finance, and personal finance.  My classes are rigorous but my style is informal.  I lecture rather than facilitate and moderate discussion.  I am working on incorporating more of the latter into my courses.

This semester (Fall 09) I will be teaching my regular class - Personal Investing/Ec 212 once again.  Any day is a great day to learn about the stock market no matter if the market is bullish, or bearish, if the economy is booming, or in a recession.  This course provides many of the economic tools to understand why and how to invest to achieve whatever financial goals you have set for yourself.  Click the link to the left to learn more about the course.
